At the time of the 1930 US Census, Edward, age 31 and his wife, Frances, age 31 and children, Gloria, age 3; Edward, age 2 and Shirley, under one year were residing in Irondequoit, Monroe, NY.

2 Feb 1919 Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Private Edward R. Van Wicklin of No. 200 Dewey Ave has written a letter to his father, Edward Van Wicklin in which he states that he took part in the St Mihiel drive and also in the drive between Mete and Verdun. He now is with the Army of Occupation in Germany. Private Van Wicklin is 18 years old. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 3, 1918. Information on Gloria^10 Van Wicklin via 15 July 2006 email from Georgi Sills - Harry Parker, after a divorce from his first wife, married Gloria Van Wicklin and they had two children, Laurie and Thomas
